Go on a prayer adventure with your child this summer! Pete Greig's 'How to Pray. A Guide for Young Explorers' is a great place to start!
This is an absolutely brilliant resource. It's really easy to read with lots of interest on every page. Each chapter is broken down into bite-sized chunks, with plenty of practical ideas to try out, key truths to ponder, cool science bits and real life stories and testimonies. Even the paper is dyslexia friendly.
Pete Greig introduces prayer in a simple but profound way so that the reader immediately feels liberated, empowered and excited to get going! He then proceeds to unpack the acronym P.R.A.Y. over the course of the book with excellent tools, insights and wisdom.
With variety on every page, lots of encouragement, down to earth humour and general honesty about the ups and downs of prayer this guide will appeal to children, whatever their previous experience.
Let's empower a generation to draw close to the Godhead and release His kingdom all around them! I'm excited to see the fruit...
Excellent for 8-11's. Get this book!
The best bit of advice I ever received about how to pray was this:
keep it simple, keep it real, keep it up.
