We meet six children, the Supernaturals gang, who each follow Jesus and are learning to grow in the power of the Holy Spirit in their everyday lives. This first book is about one of the gang, Teji, whose night time dream from the Holy Spirit takes the whole gang on an adventure of courage, growth and faith.
The story is short and easy to read, it's also dyslexia friendly and contains fun illustrations of the gang. There are extra explanations about who the Holy Spirit is, what God dreams are and how the reader can become a follower of Jesus too.
I liked the way the gang are learning about the Holy Spirit and how he works as they chat with each other and take steps of faith. Hopefully, this will enable the reader to have courage to learn and grow too and to understand that following Jesus is a journey of discovery often accompanied with mistakes and doubts but also with amazing opportunities to team up with the Holy Spirit and see God at work.
I am looking forward to the next in the series, out in October, and for more revelation for children about who the Holy Spirit is and how they can receive and step out in his empowering presence and gifts. Excellent for 8-11's.
