'The Silent Spark' by Chip Kendall is the first in a series of four new books published by Sarah Grace Publishing, part of Malcolm Down Publishing. This one is all about levelling up your potential. Other books to come look at confidence, respect and curiosity.
There are six short chapters that focus in on one aspect of potential such as to learn, to grow, to build. There are intro stories, fun facts and real life examples from people, science and nature to help illustrate each point. I really liked the simple yet probing questions in each chapter to encourage self-awareness and reflection skills.
I believe this book could greatly encourage and inspire young readers to try new things, to think more deeply and differently, and to increase in their faith that they are created amazingly for a purpose.
Hope is something we all need to grow in, most importantly hope in a good, kind, mighty God who is with us each day, sees us and equips us to live for him. This book enables that hope to rise in children and young people; to dream big with their small spark and believe that they can be part of the change this world needs.
