Each story is sensitively and creatively written to help children understand and experience Jesus’ heart of love for them. Every account also has a bible verse; ‘God’s wonderful words to you’ and a precious lift-the-flap letter which add a powerful personal touch to connect the reader to God! These letters open up the stories beyond the events to reveal more of who God is. For example 'The Secret Supper' account's Love Letter invites the reader to consider Father God's home in heaven and the promise of how everyone is welcome there.
I have used many of these stories in both school, outreach and church settings. They have created a beautiful atmosphere of understanding and openness to Jesus and I have been able to offer prayer and encounter opportunities as a result.
