Glenys Nellist has also written several Love Letters from God books and there is a lovely Christmas one in the series: Christmas Love Letters from God with stunning illustrations by Rachel Clowes.
This book has some added extras that make it a beautiful and welcome addition to your Christmas library. Beginning with Isaiah, there are seven delightfully written accounts, with poems, to journey through the nativity story. Each one has a God's Perfect Promise verse and the personal touch of a Love Letter from God lift the flap, written directly to the reader, which brings the bible account to life through God's perspective.
I absolutely love these books - they are perfect for reading out loud and I regularly use them in a local school. The children listen avidly and really anticipate the Love Letter from God part of each story.
This would be a special book to experience with children over this Christmas season, helping to open their eyes to God's wonderfully big plan of love and friendship. Brilliant for 4-10 year olds.
