The Supernaturals series is really great fun. There are two new books available to make five in total: The Extraordinary Expedition and The Amazing Multiplication. Each explores a spiritual gift from the perspective of children discovering and using them in their everyday lives.
The likeable characters are ordinary children with extraordinary faith in the Holy Spirit. They learn to ask Him for help and tune into His guidance and see His intervention in their lives as a 'gang' and for their friends and family. They discover how to apply the bible to their lives, exploring the importance of growing character traits such as kindness, honesty and resilience alongside the gifts of the Spirit.
The stories are short, easy to read and relevant to today's children. The unique dyslexia-friendly font make them even more approachable and inclusive. I would recommend these stories as a super launch pad to considering the ways of the Spirit and seeking how to following Him in our everyday lives.
Excellent for 7-11's.
Jonny had been at the point of buying the Batman swimming goggles when he felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to wait. Jonny had learned to know when the Holy Spirit was speaking to him - as had all of The Supernaturals. The more time they spent with him the easier it had become to know when the Holy Spirit wanted to get their attention.
