Explore the animals and sensory items in the tray with your senses: touch, sight, smell, hearing and taste, if it's safe to do so.
Chat about the different animals you can see and wonder about them together: I wonder what can you see, hear, feel... Tell me about these animals... Describe what they do, how they sound, how they move... I wonder which ones you like or don't like?
Notice what your child is drawn to and play along with them. Allow them to lead the exploration and listen to them.
Chat about Creator God as you play. Did you know He thought up all these incredible animals and creatures. We live in His wonderful world. We are part of His creation too! And He said all of it is GOOD!
Be thankful for your favourite animals. Help your child to tell Daddy God about them and to say 'Thank You' to Him and listen for His response back.
